Workshop Policies

By enrolling in a workshop through Studio Alluvium (‘the Studio’), the participant agrees to all of the Studio’s workshop policies. It is understood that the Studio may record video, or make an audio recording of the attendee during any given Zoom session for the purpose of workshop documentation for other participants to view. Should the participant wish to remain anonymous, they may mute their microphone and video during the Zoom session. It is also expected that each participant will keep their recording of the workshop private and will not share the video with any other party or use it in any other educational setting without express permission from the Studio and its representatives. 

LIABILITY RELEASE: 

It is understood that by enrolling, the attendee agrees to indemnify and hold the Studio harmless and release the Studio, its officers and agents from any and all liability for any injury arising out of or in any way connected with participation in the activity.

Payment will be accepted online through the completion of the Workshop Registration on www.studioalluvium.com. Registration is not complete until payment is received in full.

Studio Alluvium is responsible for providing a materials list for students in advance of each course. Students are expected to be on time for all classes and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Students engaging in disruptive or inappropriate behavior may be dismissed from a session or course at the discretion of the instructor. Such instances of dismissal will not result in a proration of class tuition.

FEES, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICIES: 

Online Class:

If a registrant withdraws fifteen (15) days or more before the first day of an online workshop, a full refund will be issued, minus a credit card processing fee. If a registrant withdraws between fourteen (14) - eight (8) days before the first day of an online workshop, a full refund will be issued, minus a $50 registration fee + credit card processing fee. No refund will be given for withdrawals less than seven (7) business days before the first day of an online workshop. In addition, please note any material packages are non-refundable once they have been shipped. All cancellation and refund inquiries must be emailed to studio.alluvium@gmail.com. The timing of the cancellation will be based on the time stamp of your email. Missed sessions will not result in a proration of the class tuition.

In Person Class:

If a registrant withdraws thirty (30) days or more before the first day of an in person workshop held at the Studio, a full refund will be issued, minus a credit card processing fee. If a registrant withdraws between twenty-nine (29) - fifteen (15) days before the first day of an in person workshop held at the Studio, a full refund will be issued, minus a $50 registration fee + credit card processing fee. No refund will be given for withdrawals less than fourteen (14) business days before the first day of an in person workshop held at the Studio. All cancellation and refund inquiries must be emailed to studio.alluvium@gmail.com. The timing of the cancellation will be based on the time stamp of your email. Missed sessions will not result in a proration of the class tuition.

In person classes held at any location other than the Studio will be subject to the refund policies of the host location. Please refer to the host location’s website for more information.
